7th place for Šics brothers in 2nd World cup Igls

In second World cup competition hosted in Igls, Austria first on start was runs for doubles. Latvia represented by one team - borthers Juris and Andris Šics. As reported earlier team Gudrimovičs/Kalniņš could not qualify for competition in Igls track.

Šics brothers started as 13th in first run with finish time 40.784 seconds placed 9th, 0.362 of a second from the Germans Eggert/Benecken who was leaders after first run. 

In second run brothers finish time was 40.774 seconds and 5th place in run. Overall time 1:21.558 place them in 7th position in Igls. 

At the Viessmann Luge World Cup in Innsbruck-Igls Germany’s doubles team Toni Eggert-Sascha Benecken celebrated their first success this season.
