While our Olympic team are trainig in Sochi track, our juniors from November 6 to December 16 will imrpve their skills in three international training weeks in Germany and Austria, and will participate in Viessmann World Cup's for juniors in Altenberg, Winterberg and Lillehammer.
Coaches Aivars Kalnins and Aiva Aparjode with junior team, composed: Kārlis Kriss Matuzels, Kristens Putins, Kristers Aparjods, Kendija Aparjode, Alise Evelīna Mitkus, went to train on the other tracks in Europe.
Today, November 6, the team begins training camp in Altenberg will start the, but a week later it will move to Austria-Igls track. Austrian camp plays an important role, because in January 2014, there will take place 29.FIL World Junior Championships. After the camp Igls track team will travel to Königssee (Germany). _ November 25,in Altenberg will start the new World Cup race season.
The second phase of the World Cup will be held also in Germany - Winterberg track, while the third phase will take our athletes to Lillehammer (Norway). These will be the last international competition for juniors in 2013.
2014. international competitions will starts right here in Sigulda, with 4th World Cup and 35.FIL European Championships for juniors.
