I am satisfied with the progress

In one of the German tracks - Königssee, is finished the 6th Viessmann World Cup .

First, today , on the start line went more than 30 men, which included Latvian luge racers Inārs Kivlenieks and Kristaps Mauriņš.

The first run was successful for Inars Kivlenieks, after crossing the finish line in 49.640 seconds he ranked 11th . Kristaps Mauriņš after the first run took 24th position ( 50,252 sec. ) .

In the second run Inārs , crossing the finish line after 49,928 seconds, finish the race with the 11th place. Our second athlete Kristaps Mauriņš unfortunately did not finish the second run and was disqualified.

After the men's race, on the start line went our team for relay . Latvia was represented with Elīza Tīruma, Adris Šics/ Juris Šics , as well as Inārs Kivlenieks .
Between 11 teams, Latvian team finish the race in 2 minutes 45,322 seconds and won the 6th place.

Inara Kivlenieks after he made his season best performance commented: '' If the season's first half dealt with the experiments to understand which sled is the right, then today it was evident that 'll take this one. I am satisfied with the result, but not my runs. I made mistakes.”
