1.Nation Cup- successful.

Today in Lillehammer luge track were Nations Cup, which gave the opportunity for athletes to qualify for tomorrows 1. Viessmann World Cup for this season.

We are very poud of Ulla Zirne, who reached the secound fastest time in this competition and left behinde herself experienced athletes form Russia and Austria. This means, tomorrow on the start we will see both of our female athletes, Ulla and Eliza Tiruma, who had enough points and did not need to qualify.

For our boys, this qualification was not that successful, because Artūrs Dārznieks unfortunately did not qualify. In man's race, Latvia will be represented with three : Mārtiņš Rubenis, Kristaps Mauriņš and Inārs Kivlenieks.

In doubles competition we will have a full team, for the 1. Viessmann World Cup both teams have qualified.
