Kristaps Mauriņš 9th in Winterberg

Due to rough weather conditions in Winterberg race organisers was forced to stop competitions and cancel first run results. 

Good adaption skills showed Kristaps Mauriņš and he was best from Latvian lugers. Kristaps 9th (finish time 53.170), Mārtiņš 19th (53.281) and Inārs 24th (53.370). 

First place took German slider Chris Eißler with result 52.938

Sunday start will give to women single and team relay competition. Since our youngest athlete Ulla Zirne could not qualify for world cup the only racing girl will be Elīza Tīruma.
