Latvian team 4th in Winterberg

After great Elīzas achievement in women single race our team also showed world class in team relay competition. 

Our team: Elīza Tīruma, Andris and Juris Šics, K. Mauriņš took 4th place in team relay less then 0.3 seconds from bronze medalists Autria team. Gold goes to Italy and silver medalists USA athletes. Germans after huge Natalie Geisenberger mistake was able to finish the race and took only 9th place.

Tomorrow our team is on the way to Canada. Next week world cup will be in Whistler. Latvia will be represented not only in the track but also president of Latvian luge federation will be delegate of luge jury comission in Whistler.
