Juniors on the way to the World Championships

Our junior team: Kendija Aparjode , Alise Evelīna Mitkus , Riks Kristens Rozītis ,Kristers Aparjods, Kārlis Krišs Matuzels and Kristens Putins with newcomers Anda Upīte , Edgars Karnitis and their coach Zintis Šaicāns have gone to the 5th and 6th World Cup, which will take place in Königssee and Oberhof , as well as to the start of this season most important event for juniors - World Junior Championships .

In world cup stages will be nothing new for our athletes, but the World Championship will challenge . For this race Riks Kristens Rozītis and Kristers Aparjods wil be in the same group! As we know Kristers Aparjods has raced in A youth age group so far , now he'll have to fight with “large whales” - the world's best juniors . Some of them were also in the European Junior Championships whitch was held in Sigulda . This will also be the big challenge for Karnītis Edgars- first time in Igls and first time Junior Championships!

Our Girls - Kendija, Alise and Anda will be in similar situation, because for the junior team will also join Ulla Zirne, and the World Junior Championship will be the first race where all the girls will compete in the same group - the one starting spot .

For the doubles, there will be nothing new, so we are waiting only a good results!
