Among 24 members in the ladies race, their mastery showed Elīza Tīruma and Ulla Zirne. Ulla's first run was very good, with the time 53,570 seconds she ranked in 9th place. Elīza Tīrumas, despite the fact that the top of the track she performed far better then Ulla, after the mistakes in the lower par od track she finished behind Ulla, 57.200 seconds and 24th place. Unfortunately, the second run for Elīza was much worse- she did not finish together with the sled and thats why she got disqualified.
Ulla Zirne her second run could not make so fast like the first one- 54,186 seconds and with a two run total time of 1 minute 47,756 seconds she ranked 17th.
Her performance in today's ladies competition Ulla characterized by the following : '' My both runs were good. So the quality of the ice get slower after every run and I could not produce a better time, as well as I would like . If you ask where to start easier - juniors, or seniors, where this year I started more, then I will say that it does not matter. The competition is competition. The following week and European Championship for adults, which will be held in Sigulda, I look positively and with determination to prove myself . ''
