Brothers 10th, Ulla beats Elīza in World cup Park City

With double team run start was given to 5th World cup competition in Park City, US.

Two latvian teams was represented at the race - Andris Šics/Juris Šics and Oskars Gudramovičs/Pēteris Kalniņš.
With finish time 1:28.104 Latvian high ranked couple Andris Šics/Juris Šics took 10th place leaving second team 3 spots lower at 13th with finish time 1:28.331. Gold medalists Tobias Wendl, Tobias Arlt finished after 1:27.326 which was 0.778 and 1.005 seconds ahead Latvian team.

In women competition our talented athlete Ulla Zirne was better then Elīza Tīruma and took 18th position with finish time 1:28.468 it was 0.840seconds behind gold medalist Natalie Geisenberger from Germany. Elīza with finish time 1:29.230 was 23rd 1.602 behind winner.

Tonight will compete men singles with only two representatives from Latvia - Inārs Kivlenieks and Mārtiņš Rubenis. As reported earlier Kristaps Mauriņš and Artūrs Dārznieks could not qualify for World cup.
